ROAD TRIP! Embarking on our first site visit of the year, we made our way to Thornbury, Ontario to check out the progress being made at the “My Bayside” development by Calibrex Developments.

We always enjoy adding our touch when helping to create new communities with our developers and My Bayside is a community where we did just that. The My Bayside development is located right off Highway 26 and is tucked away within the trees and topography.

Bayside is made up of six models, ranging in sizes from 1500 sf to 3000 sf and offered in two different exterior styles. One, also referred to as “Elevation A” has a very modern vibe with mono-pitched roofs and ceiling details to match. The other, “Elevation B” has more of a contemporary transitional vibe with shallow hip roofs. Both options offer large windows, open concepts living, two-storey ceiling heights in the living rooms and open loft siting areas.

As with any project, before starting we always have to understand who the buyer or end user is.

If you are not familiar with Thornbury, well let me tell you that this place has something for everyone. Great restaurants, tons of outdoor activities and the change in topography is unreal. One minute you’re driving towards The Blue Mountains and next you’re looking at Georgian Bay. Needless to say we had to design houses that attracted all types of buyers. And not to toot our own horn or anything but the SOLD OUT results speak for themselves.
